Camping

Ammon and I took Gideon camping on Thursday and Friday night before Labor Day Weekend! Gideon loved it!!! He even cried when we were packing up to leave and said that he wanted to stay and not go! We went with some friends and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors! The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold! The only sad part was that there was a ban on open fires, so we could only have a charcoal fire! We went on a 4 mile hike and loved the smell of pines! Gideon wanted to get out and walk, so we let him get out and walk and he walked for about 2 miles! I was very surprised! Gideon enjoyed seeing Geese, Deer, Grouse, Snakes, and Frogs! Luckily I did not see the snakes (the neighbor kids caught the snake down at the beach and brought it back to camp to show Gideon!) Gideon really liked playing soccer with his daddy! I can't remember everything cute that Gideon did, but he really enjoyed camping and he slept really good too!!! Ammon and I enjoyed relaxing and hiking with each other! Sorry there are no pictures. I am really loosing my mind! I forgot to take my camera with us!
