Gideon had the opportunity to be a Seagull in the School Play of Treasure Island! He had practice Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. till 5:30 p.m. and then performed twice on Friday! One night after practice, he said, "Mom! I LOVE doing this play!!! It is SUPER FUN!!! I can't wait to do it again next year!" When we went to his first performance on Friday, he came out and covered his face! He did get over his shyness by the next performance and had a HUGE SMILE on his face the entire second performance!!! We are SUPER PROUD of our Big Boy who is following in his Dad's footsteps and will one day be a great performer in many musicals and plays!!!

Snow, Snow, and more Snow
When we moved up to Northern Idaho in September, everyone here kept telling us to prepare for a Bad Winter with Lots of Snow! We got ready and prepared, but the snow never came! In December we had a little bit of snow, but then it would warm up and rain and melt all of the snow! The kids were very disappointed! Finally, in January we got a HUGE SNOW STORM!!! The kids could hardly wait to get out and play in it, build snowmen, and go sledding down our Mountain, which is our yard!!! The snow finally has stayed, but it is melting a little at a time because it will get cold enough to snow at night, but then warm enough to rain during the day! People here are shocked at how mild this winter has been! After my car accident on I-90 in December, I'm grateful it has been mild!!!
