Sweetest Moment

I'm not sure what the boys are doing here! I just noticed that it got suspiciously quiet and this is what I found! I'm so happy that they weren't getting into trouble!!!

Jeremiah...

loves to ride the dump truck like this! (I remember when Gideon would do this all the time)! I just love it! Here Jeremiah is telling us that he is done with his chicken nuggets and is sucking the ketchup off of his fingers! Ammon started gagging when he saw that Jeremiah was eating just ketchup! I just started laughing! I sure wouldn't eat ketchup that way even though I like to have ketchup on my chicken nuggets!

Prizes from a Picnic

Ammon was working with the Boy Scouts at the Agrium Family Picnic and invited us to join in the fun! While Ammon and the Boy Scouts were getting dirty gutting fish all day, Gideon, Jeremiah, and I enjoyed cotton candy, BBQ Lunch, going down a huge slide, digging for money in the sand, playing basketball, knocking over milk cans, and fishing for prizes! Jeremiah got a water bottle that has a soccer ball for the top, silly string, and a paddleball toy! Gideon was ecstatic when he won a dragon monster truck, silly string, and a train piggy bank! Gideon painted the train all by himself and even put his two dollars of quarters (that he dug up in the sand) in it! He says, "this is where I save my money for my mission!" What a sweetheart! I'm glad that he is already planning on saving for a mission!

Happy/Sad/Oh No...

I had an interesting day this week! I went to see the Specialist (my regular Dr. wanted me to see him because of my history with premature rupture of my amniotic sac) and had a surprise ultrasound! This ultrasound was mainly to check the uterus, cervix, and placement of the placenta, but the ultrasound tech asked if I wanted to see what the sex of the baby was! She didn't know that I know how to read ultrasounds and she asked this question when she was showing the picture of the critical area on the baby! I already could tell what the baby was! I of course said yes, because you all know me and how I am very impatient!!! I was so happy to see that we are going to have our 3rd little boy!!! The sad part was that Ammon was at work and unable to be there when we found out! Also, this was an early ultrasound, as you can tell by the ticker, I was only 16 weeks along when we found out what we were having! As I drove home and had an hour to myself to think things over, that is when it all hit me like a big boulder clambering down the mountainside, "Oh No! Three Boys! What am I going to do?!" Let's just say that I am feeling overwhelmed with the thought of having three boys, but feeling grateful that we are already prepared with clothes and everything for the baby and that even though it is a boy, he is just a baby for a year and all of the "boy fun" doesn't begin until they are at least a year old! Also, I have great resources to go to, my sister and two cousins who have 4 boys! Let's just hope that I have a girl after this one!

Two Little Buds

As Jeremiah was resting in the shade, Will came over to meet his cousin! Will had no qualms at showing his affection for his new best bud by giving hugs and kisses! Jeremiah, on the other hand, wasn't sure what to do with this little buddy coming up and being so friendly when it was the first time that he had really met his cousin! Jeremiah warmed up to Will later on, but it was so cute to see this and capture it to keep forever!

Random Fun

Here is Jonas and Logan enjoying the shade, Will eating...mostly sand, Joshua playing in the warm part of the water, and Gideon making mud cakes!

The Girls...

Enjoying playing peacefully in the sand!

Boys Building...

The boys all got together and worked together to build the "World's Best, Biggest Sand Castle!" Then of course they went and played Destroyer and knocked the castle down! What a joy it is to have so many boys as part of the family!

Water Fun

Everyone had a blast in the water, but it took a little bit to get used to how cold it was! The kids just jumped right in and then climbed up on the floaties to get warm in the sun! The adults had to brave to cold water the entire time! The adults were done way before the kids were tired of the water! I guess that is how it always is! Good thing that we could take turns being with the kids in the ice water!

Bear Lake Fun

Here some of us are eating while others are getting ready to go have fun in the water!

Sprinkler Fun/Worn Out

Jesse had lots of fun teasing the sprinkler, or maybe it was the other way around! ;o) Suzy decided to go and wrestle the grass, but I think that the soft grass and the light breeze won!

Playing in the Pool

Little Will was so excited to have his own little pool all to himself!

Sun/Shade/Results

Here some of us are enjoying the shade, while others are enjoying the sun, and here are some of the results of the rock/stick painting!

More Family Pics

Here the kids are painting rocks and sticks to make a beautiful rainbow garden for Granny and Granddad!
