The sweetest person was called home to her Heavenly Father yesterday, my grandmother, Mary Lou!!! She lead a wonderful life and followed our Savior always!!! She was always sacrificing for her family even up to the very end! Two weeks ago, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer that was malignant, meaning that it was spreading and had spread to her intestines!!! She was given the choice of Chemotherapy or Hospice! She chose Chemotherapy!!! After just one round of Chemo, she lost the fight and passed away!!! My grandmother loved to play games with us and always had a good story to tell! She also loved to have the entire family together and would invite all of us to come just to have fun with one another and not just for a holiday!!! She always made sure that we knew to turn to the Lord for everything and that by following Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, we would receive eternal happiness!!! I am truly blessed and honored to have her as my Grandmother!!!!
Now, Ammon is working on a Farm still and is getting one very Handsome Farmers Tan!!! He is loving working the land and learning new skills each day! He is, however, tired of all of the heat that we have been experiencing!!!
Gideon is super excited that we are doing preschool and connecting it with dinner! For example, each day we do a letter of the ABC's and then we make something for dinner that starts with that letter! Here are some examples, on the day that we do the letter C we made Cheese soup with celery and carrots in it! Today is the letter L and we are making Lasagna!!! Both Gideon and Jeremiah have enjoyed making crafts that go along with each letter and helping me make dinner! This is a very fun activity and has kept Gideon busy! He can not wait for August/September when school starts!!!
Jeremiah is having fun telling me the color of everything, the letters that he is learning, and what he is learning in Nursery!!! He loves to be outside and does not even want to come inside to eat!!! If I could, I would send him out with his Dad! ;o)
Malachi is either going through a growth spurt or trying to teeth, but whatever it is, it is not making him very happy! When he is not crying or fussing, he loves to sit up all by himself, but gets upset when he gets too excited about things and falls over!!! He also loves to be outside like his big brother Jeremiah! Sometimes when he is crying and nothing makes him happy, we just have to sit him in his saucer or highchair by the opened back door, and he immediately stops crying and starts jabbering away trying to tell us all that he sees!!! It is great fun to hear him start making more noises and laughing at things!!!
I am just trying to keep up with Four Very Active boys and keeping them happy! Life is very good and we are blessed in so many ways!!! I love being here and spending my days with my boys!!!

Sorry to hear about your Grandma, it's true though, chemo kills about as many old people as cancer does. I am glad your family is doing so well otherwise!
