Arizona!

Well, we decided to take Ammon to Arizona for the first time in his life (not to mention Gideon's and Jeremiah's first time as well)! We didn't want to travel with all of the Memorial Day traffic, so we left on Wed. before Memorial Day and got to my Grandparents house on Thursday! Let me tell you, that will be the last long trip that I make when I am in the first trimester of pregnancy!!! The morning sickness was bad enough, but add two days of traveling in a truck and signs that say, "Rough Road Ahead" sure don't make the experience a good one! Jeremiah wasn't the happiest traveler either, which made it double exciting that we finally made it to Arizona and got to be out of the truck for 4 days!!! All of the boys did enjoy stopping for lunch at the Glen Canyon Dam and seeing the big 3D map of Utah and Arizona that they had on display there! (We also stopped there on the way home and had about 3 little lizards join us for lunch! Gideon and Jeremiah were fascinated by them!) We enjoyed visiting the Mesa Temple, some of the many parks that are there with Palm Trees as good shade, Grandpa's gorgeous garden, going for walks in the evenings (when it wasn't too hot! Well, actually it wasn't that bad at all! It was beautiful for the 4 days that we were there), going to the Cemetery and learning so much about our ancestors, going to Joe's BBQ, and enjoying the most wonderful Organ music at the Organ Stop Pizza (that was totally amazing! This man would play any song that anyone would request on this huge organ that was linked to not only pipes, but drums, horns, cymbals, and many other kind of instruments! It was just fabulous! We sure enjoyed watching our boys dance and sing to the music)! The best part about going though was to visit with family! We sure love you all down in Arizona and had a blast playing with you all! Thank you for the fun week! I promise to post pictures soon!
