Wow! We can not believe how fast this past 11 months have been! It is now Hunting Season and Ammon and my Dad went on opening day for Elk yesterday and saw about 50 Elk first thing in the morning! The sad part of the story is the Elk were all on Farm land where they could not shoot and it was about half an hour before they could shoot as well! The rest of the story is that they did not see any Elk the rest of the two days! They did see lots of Deer (too bad that season isn't open yet) and they did see Blue Grouse (which Ammon shot and brought home)! I guess they will just have to wait to get their Elk in a couple of weeks when they go hunting again!
Gideon has discovered Dinosaurs and goes around roaring and saying that he is a BIG DINOSAUR!!! He started a preschool with three other boys once a week and is just loving it! He has learned to spell his name (sort of) He says, "G something something something O N!" What a cute kid! Also when we ask him what his name is, he says, "Three! Gideon!" I guess he is excited to tell everyone that he is three! The terrible part about being three though is that when he does not want to do something he tells me, "Mom, I am not three! I am not Big! I am little and a baby and need help! Please!" Sometimes this is cute, but when he says it about 10 times a day every day, it gets a little tiresome! He is still fun and loves to wrestle his little brother and have his little brother chase him!
Jeremiah loves chasing his big brother and as I am holding his hands, he will walk like a Cowboy and try to catch his big brother! It is the cutest thing! Because I am the one helping Jeremiah, I have not been able to get a video of him walking, but it is totally like a Cowboy Walk! Jeremiah is getting so big and loves to eat everything in sight! He is now pulling himself up to stand up (except for the couch which is a little too tall for him) and loves to go from the crawling position to the sitting up position! He follows me around everywhere I go! He loves to pull himself up on Mater (a little tow truck) and sit on him and make truck noises! He tries to ride Mater too, but his little feet and legs just won't push him forward, but he looks pretty cute trying to make Mater go!
I am enjoying canning Apples, Applesauce, and Apples in Cinnamon Sauce! The house smells so good!
Well, that is about all that is going on besides work and doctor visits and everything else that makes life interesting and busy! We are all doing well and sure miss seeing all of you! Hopefully we can get pictures up soon! Have a very Happy Halloween and don't get too Frightened! BOO!
