Fun Family Time

Getting ready to go to the County Fair!  The boys started out by having a horse back ride!!!

This is the most precious picture of all!!!

Finishing up the night looking at the cows!

Hidden Falls

During Family Camp, we decided to hike to Hidden Falls by Jenny Lake!  It is quite a long hike for little ones, so some of us took the little ones and road on a motor boat across the lake and then hiked a mile to the falls!  Gideon and Jeremiah were Super excited to ride a motor boat!  They can not wait to take Daddy back there someday, so that he can experience the fun as well!

This is such a beautiful shot of the river!

Hidden Falls!

Wouldn't this make such a beautiful puzzle!  It would be very difficult, but so much fun to do!

Fueling up before we hike back down!

He was mad that I stopped feeding him to take a picture!

So, I handed him a grape and caught this cute happy face!

All three boys were ready for a nap by this time!

I absolutely love Waterfalls!!!  They are so magnificent and bring such peace to my soul!

Gideon and Jeremiah at Family Camp

There was a dirt pile in our camp and that is where Jeremiah and his cousin Will spent all of their time!

Gideon was always with his cousins Anna and Jonas!

We were entertained one afternoon with the kids putting on skits for us!

Cousins Joshua and Debbie doing their skit!

Anna, Lily Beth, and Gideon doing their skit teaching that it is best to be yourself!!!

Treasure Hunt at Family Camp

The kids got to go on a Treasure Hunt while camping at Alpine!  Each child got a turn to read a clue and tell everyone what activity they had to do before moving on to the next clue!

They had to pinch their noses and sing a song about  being a mosquito by the outhouses!

Balancing on a log without making it roll and causing others to fall!

Reading the campground information and safety rules and then standing in order from oldest to youngest!

Finding the most interesting rock!

Jeremiah telling everyone that they get to do a jumping jack for each year of their life!

Yes!!!  We found the Treasure!!!

Putting together the airplanes!

Malachi at Family Camp

Here are a couple of funny faces that Malachi pulled as he went around discovering what setting up camp was all about!

Couldn't help to capture a few pictures of his messy face as he fed himself!

These were taken as he watched the other kids find the clues for the treasure hunt!

We camped for 4 days in 90 plus degree weather the entire time, but on the next to the last day, we were surprised by a ten minute down pour!!!  I forgot to stake down my rain fly on my tent, so the rain collected in spots on top of my tent!  When I went to drain the rain off, I didn't look to see where Malachi was; poor Malachi was standing right where the rain came pouring off of the tent! :o)

At least it cleaned some of the dirt off! :o)

Malachi loved walking on the balance beam that the kids discovered at Granny and Granddad's camp!
