Ninja Turtle Birthday

Jeremiah Loved that he got to celebrate his birthday twice! A week later, Granny and Granddad came and gave Jeremiah snow pants, gloves, shoes, and a shirt with pants!

Jeremiah wanted to have another train birthday (he had one when he turned 3), but 3 days before his birthday, he changed his mind and asked for a Ninja Turtle Birthday!  He wanted to "Paint" (frost) the Ninja Turtles as well, so here he is putting chocolate chips on as eyes after he frosted them!

I wasn't sure how to make a Ninja Turtle Cake, so I came up with the Ninja Turtles coming out of the sewer cap!

It was a BIG Hit!!!

To top it all off, he got a Ninja Turtle Car with Leonardo, the blue Ninja Turtle!

He also got some Pajamas, Glow Sticks, a train book, and Hi Ho Cherry-O game!

Construction Workers

After the wonderful "Dig into Reading" Summer Reading Program, the boys said that they wanted to be Construction Workers for Halloween!  We went to the Dollar Store and found hats and vests for them all!  Malachi wasn't interested in wearing his stuff, until Daddy pulled out his tools and vest and dressed up too!  

Earlier in the day, Daddy took Jeremiah and Malachi out to do some hard yard work and try to get rid of a gopher or two!!!

We found some tools and some goggles for the boys and let them build buildings and put their names on their hats with foam stickers!!!  They had so much fun!!!

I even got the honor to join the team!!!

Before Trick-or-Treating, we took the boys to the Fall Festival and let them run off some energy in this Obstacle Course!!!

Ninja Turtles/Pirates

Our boys have gotten into playing Ninja Turtles and one day came across my ribbon. They asked for me to make them look like Ninja Turtles!!!  Gideon is Raphael, Jeremiah is Michelangelo (Sorry, I didn't have orange ribbon), and Malachi is Donatello!!!  The boys also love wearing their Pirate PJs and playing Hook!!!

We just love living up the mountain in the forest!!!

Three elk that visited up one frosty and foggy morning!!!  Ammon was dying that they were all females, which meant he couldn't shoot one!!!

Some Inside Pictures

Here are two pictures of the entire Family Room that is downstairs and goes the entire length of the house!!!  (I would apologize for the mess and the laundry hanging up, but it shows that we actually live in our house and have fun instead of trying to be picture perfect all the time)!!! 

This is the guest bedroom/playroom that is downstairs!!!  The twin size bed has another twin size bed under it!!!

Yes, this is my somewhat smallish and outdated kitchen, but it still works well for now and is actually bigger than most of the kitchens that I have cooked in in our apartments!!!

This is the second bedroom upstairs and is the perfect size for all of our boys to share!!!

This is one out of two bathrooms! Yes, I'm actually excited that the blue bathtub, toilet, and sink match the theme of rubber ducks swimming in the water!!!

Our New House

We are finally Home Owners!!!  We bought a, "Coolest Blue House on the Biggest Mountain!"  That is what our boys say each time they see our house!!!  They love living on 3 1/2 acres that includes the pasture in the picture below and the woods behind and on the other side of our house!!!

The West side which is the front of the house!!!

The North side of the house consists of the Master Bedroom!!!  It is by far the coldest room in the house!!!  That will be nice in the Summer, but it is very cold right now!!!  It is so nice we have a door out to the hot tub to warm up!!!  If you walk out and head North, you will reach the barn that is set up for about three horses and then leads into the forest that is part of our land!!!  

Here is the East side which is in the back that has a terraced garden and leads into the forest!!!  If you want to go camping for free and enjoy hiking and seeing wildlife everyday, come visit us!!!

Boys Just Wanna Have Fun

The boys absolutely love that we can build a fire to help heat the house!!!

When we built our first fire, Jeremiah thought we were going to roast hot dogs!  We thought it would be fun, so we complied and had a slumber party in front of the fire that night!!!

We see so many wildlife around our house!!!  We enjoy seeing rabbits, turkeys, grouse, deer, and elk!!!

Ammon was finally able to get his first Turkey and it was just one step out our back door!!!

3 Handsome Boys

I guess Granny was pretty sad that these little ones wouldn't be around 24/7 and playing Peter Pan, so she bought the boys pirate ship pjs!!!

The last Sunday before we moved out of Granny and Granddad's house!!!

Gideon loves that we have two fireplaces in our house!!!

Malachi learned how to climb out of the crib right before we left Granny's house, so he graduated and became a Big Boy and sleeps well in his Big Boy Bed in the new house!!!

Jeremiah was super sad that the entire summer his bunk bed was broken, so he had to have a picture taken with his bunk bed fixed at the new house!!!

Gideon loves his new school and has adjusted well!!!  He is excited to be part of the Silver Hills Miner's!!!
